Le Pure Café sits comfortably in the vibrant 11th arrondissement, offering a casual yet classic Parisian café and bistro experience. This is the kind of spot where locals linger over a morning coffee or settle in for a relaxed lunch without the rush typical of tourist-heavy places. With its address on Rue Jean-Macé, it fits neatly into a neighborhood known for a mix of everyday Parisians and friendly small businesses.

The café strikes a balance between traditional French flavors and approachable bistro fare. Expect dishes like Eggs Benedict, Fish n' Chips with tartar sauce, and more substantial options such as Teriyaki Salmon or Filet de Boeuf, appealing to those looking for a satisfying midday or early evening meal. Noteworthy is the fact that the kitchen serves food throughout the day, making it flexible for visitors who want a hearty brunch as well as a casual dinner.

Outdoor seating is particularly prized on sunny days, where diners can enjoy a shaded spot protected from the intense Parisian summer sun—a perfect setup for leisurely lunches or a late afternoon drink. Inside, the atmosphere is unpretentious and warm, avoiding the stiff formality found in some Parisian establishments. Staff interactions reflect genuine friendliness, providing a notable change from the typical Paris café experience and making patrons feel welcomed whether they are regulars or just passing through.

The clientele here includes a mix of locals who come to work, chat, or take a break, as well as visitors who appreciate an authentically local scene away from tourist hotspots. Happy hour runs from late afternoon into the early evening, inviting conversations over well-poured drinks and light bites. The presence of agreeable extras such as kombucha adds a modern touch for those who enjoy thoughtful beverage choices alongside their meals.

For those seeking an authentic slice of Paris daily life with well-executed French dishes, approachable portions, and an inviting ambiance, Le Pure Café offers a comfortable and reliable downtown refuge. Its charm lies in the casual, lived-in feel and the fact that it’s a place to relax—whether catching up with a friend over eggs and coffee, enjoying a simple yet well-crafted burger, or unwinding with a glass of local wine after work.

Cool place, specially if want to relive the movie with a great friend or a couple. The service was kind and respectful, happy hour from 17 to 21 and tasteful food.

This place is truly authentic. The staff was very warm with me. I come to Paris every six months and have done most of the touristy things. While my wife is at work I’ve resorted to hanging out at cafes during the day. This was the cafe that i found myself returning to everyday. The food is also very traditional French and the food is served all day long.

Finally good food in Paris . I had the avocado toast which was wonderful and the falafel und hummus which was also really tasty. I can only recommend this place as the waiter was very nice ( shocking for Paris ) and the food was really good an not too expensive. They also have kombucha which I looove.

Our favourite place in Paris! We've been here many times, and we never tire of it. The atmosphere is great, the food is great, the wine is great. This is an authentic Parisian experience, frequented and staffed by locals. In fact, I hesitate to review it because I do not want it to get any better known than it already is! Whether we're just dropping in for a for a glass of wine, chilling with a selection of charcuterie, having a lazy lunch, or delicious dinner, this place never fails to deliver. We love it!

Had a relaxed lunch with a friend. We sat outdoors on a lovely summer day perfectly shielded from the intense summer sun. Food was overall good. The Salmon tartare was refreshing. The steak was good aswell. The portion felt a bit small however. The service was very attentive. A nice place overall and something I would go back to if I am in the area again.

Delicious food at fair prices, served in a beautiful setting that perfectly captures the magic of Paris. The staff were exceptional — especially the friendly young blond gentleman. Highly recommended!

We wandered into Le Pure Café after looking for records nearby, our first day in Paris. We were charmed by the decor, the velvet bench seats, the sympathetic servers who let me try out my French but still responded in English, kindly. They served up lovely cocktails, and we enjoyed a nice cheese plate as well. We expected that cafés like this would be common, and we decided we'd not return, just to make sure we experienced as much as we could, but as our trip went on we realized how special this place really is. We returned for lunch, and again for dinner, each time being met with fantastic service, and incredible food. We enjoyed what was likely the best steak frites in all of Paris with a delicious Jack Daniels sauce, and perfectly golden fries. The desserts were decadent, the drinks were superb, and our dinner was romantic, and truly unforgettable. We plan to return to Paris for an anniversary in the future and hope Le Pure Café is waiting for us.

Pretty affordable for Paris. I came to check it out because it’s the same shop from that movie — not sure if it’s still run by the same owner. The food was really nice, though some things are a bit salty on their own. The owner seemed a little rushed, but the two servers were super friendly. Overall, I’d recommend it.
